Linda Wright, who joined Barratt American in 1984 as a community salesperson and quickly became one of the firm’s leading agents, has been promoted to vice president of sales for the firm’s Inland Empire division. This decision was announced by Lou Ochoa, division president.

"Having been a dedicated and very successful new home sales agent and director of sales for the Inland Empire division, Linda has demonstrated the ability to sell, manage and train for any market with any product," Ochoa said. "She has the foundational skills that are timeless. Linda loves to teach and share her knowledge with her team and few managers stand up for their crew like Linda does. The successes of the Barratt American Inland Empire sales team are an indication of Linda’s passion for helping prospective buyers achieve their dream of home ownership."

Under the direction of Michael D. Pattinson, president, Barratt American has won awards for home-building superiority and buyer popularity at the national, regional and local levels.

Wright's widespread plaudits include 'Sales Professional of the Year' citations from the MAME
and SAM awards, several BIA Sales and Marketing Council quarterly awards for excellence, and multiple 'Barratt Sales Agent of the Year' honors. She is active in the Inland Empire SMC and has served on the 2005 and 2006 Laurel Awards committee. She also is a member of the homeowners association at Barratt’s master-planned Villages of Avalon in Perris, acting as association secretary.
