Macy's West is kicked off its "Thanks For Sharing" campaign in October, giving Macy's cardholders the opportunity to support the American Heart Association, America's Second Harvest, Boys & Girls Clubs and United Way while they shop. The campaign launches runs through Dec. 31, 2006.
For a $25 enrollment fee, Macy's cardholders will earn a 10 percent reward on most Macy's and macys.com net purchases made with their Macy's credit card from the date of enrollment through Dec. 31, 2006. For every $25 Thanks for Sharing enrollment, Macy's will make a $10 donation to participating charities, and these donations stay in the communities where they are made. Participating cardholders will receive a sticker to apply to their Macy's card, recognizing their participation in the program.
As a "thank you" to our Thanks For Sharing customers, Macy's will send all participants a Macy's Reward Card valued at 10 percent of their qualifying Macy's credit card net purchases.
Macy's West welcomes the return of four veteran "Thanks for Sharing" organizations that provide vital services to our communities.
The American Heart Association's "Go Red for Women" campaign, which started as a grassroots campaign and has grown into a vibrant national movement. The campaign focuses on educating women about living a heart-healthy life, offering tips on healthy eating, exercise and risk factor reduction.
Second, the America's Second Harvest is the nation's largest domestic hunger relief organization. Through a network of over 200 food banks and food-rescue programs, they provide emergency food assistance to more than 23 million hungry Americans each year, nine million of whom are children
Third, the Boys & Girls Clubs, whose mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.
Last, the United Way, which brings together partners, services and resources to help its community find answers to health and social problems in more than 1,400 communities across the nation. The mission of United Way is to improve people's lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities.
