If you have yet to make (or start) your New Year's Resolution, resolve to join the Chamber of Commerce along with local business professionals at the second Sundowner event of the year.
The Museum of Making Music, located at 5790 Armada Drive in Carlsbad, will host the February 15 Sundowner. The Museum of Making Music will present visitors with a nostalgic journey through 100 years of American popular music and the instrument innovations that contributed to the evolution of modern music. It includes over 450 vintage instruments on display, hundreds of audio and video samples at the touch of a button and a unique interactive area where visitors can play on over a dozen hands-on instruments. The Museum also presents a number of special events and educational outreach activities.
Join the Chamber for an evening of food, drinks and lots of networking. Admission is $5 for Chamber members and $15 for prospective members. In addition, the Chamber would like to thank those companies who donated raffle prizes for our January Sundowner at Laguna Point. For more information on this month's event or to donate a raffle prize, contact Denise Wigley at (760) 931-8400.
