Mark Kagan has returned to GVA IPC as vice president, announced Jay Diskin, CCIM, SIOR, president and CEO of the San Diego-headquartered commercial real estate brokerage firm.
Kagan brings 20 years of commercial real estate and asset manager experience to GVA IPC. In his new post, he focuses primarily on office and R&D leasing and sales.
Kagan initially joined GVA IPC in 1986, serving five years as a sales agent. During that time, he focused on leasing office properties along the Interstate 15 corridor. He left the firm in 1991 to become an attorney at law and, during his time away from GVA IPC, worked as an insurance defense litigator.
Other previous experience includes having served three years at ICG Communications and XO Communications, where he negotiated leases, license agreements, easements, and right of way contracts with municipalities. He served another three years with F&F Properties, directing the acquisition of portfolio properties across the United States. He has managed and operated investment properties throughout Southern California since 2003.
Founded in 1975, GVA IPC (formerly IPC Commercial Real Estate) is a full-service brokerage firm specializing in the sale, leasing, consulting and management of commercial real estate, including office, retail, industrial, apartment, land, life sciences, and investment properties.
