What is your professional background?
I have more than 20 years in banking with the last 12 years spent in the North County coastal area as a business development officer and branch manager.


When did you start with Comerica?
Summer of 2006.

What are your duties or responsibilities at Comerica?
My responsibility is to ensure exceptional quality service is provided to clients. Additionally, I manage the banking center budget and maximize operational efficiency. I lead and motivate my staff to achieve aggressive sales goals, adhere to the bank policies and procedures, ensure that clients inquires and concerns are being handled in a professional manner and get involved in the community.

What is the most challenging aspect of your job?
The most challenging aspect of my position is gaining name recognition in Southern California, we have been around for more than 150 years and we want people to recognize our name in this area.

What do you enjoy most about your position?
I enjoy the clients I serve. I go to work looking forward to meeting new people and starting relationships that grow over time.

How does Comerica compare to other banking centers?
We really are different. Most banks offer similar products including checking accounts, loans and credit cards. But what sets us apart is that we give our clients the attention they deserve. We provide a Financial Needs Assessment Profile on all our clients so we can help with their short and long term goals. Banking made simple; on their terms.

Where do you see yourself in five or ten years?
I really see myself becoming a region manager or branch liaison for branch managers reporting to senior management

How many employees are at your Carlsbad branch?
I have a great staff of six.

How does the Carlsbad location compare to other Comerica locations?
We are located on one of the busy intersection in Carlsbad, near Legoland, the new golf course, Four Seasons Hotel and many business parks and wonderful neighborhoods. We have the best of both worlds, business and residential


What do you do in your time away from work?
I spend time volunteering at my son, Kendall’s school, Bonsall West; with my daughter, Kourtney, I enjoy shopping and working out; and with my husband, Tyrone, I enjoy trying different restaurant in San Diego and Orange County.
