What would you like the community of Carlsbad to know about any new service you provide or are currently developing?
Carlsbad Seapointe Resort now offers rental facilities for meetings and special events. Our Clubhouse, which has panoramic ocean views, seats up to 100 guests and is ideal for wedding receptions and family reunions. The Media Room, which seats up to 35 people, is perfect for conducting small business meetings.
Carlsbad Seapointe Resort has recently made some great improvements to the facilities and amenities. First, the soft goods in the interiors of the villas have been refurbished and by summer 2007 all the villas will be totally renovated. Also, in an effort to add some shine to the exterior of the resort, we are scheduled to reseal and repaint all the buildings on the property by the end of 2006. Additionally, we have made several upgrades to the common areas such as replacing the lobby carpets, upgrading gym equipment and resurfacing the pool and spa areas. At Carlsbad Seapointe Resort we are dedicated to maintaining the facilities to the highest standards.
What do you like about being located in the City of Carlsbad or North County?
Carlsbad has it all; terrific weather year round, some of the best beaches in Southern California, a quaint and historic downtown area and a thriving economy. We are located between Disneyland and SeaWorld and Legoland.
Credit is due to the vision of the city council and the mayor for creating a great Mater Growth Plan that offers so much for Carlsbad residents and visitors. Everything from the city parks, to the libraries and emergency services are first rate in Carlsbad. Also development is phenomenal as is shown by the new golf course and resorts next to Legoland projects.
What local factors have contributed to your company's success and what has the community done to facilitate that?
The City of Carlsbad is a great location to live and work. The city promotes responsible development that benefits everyone from business to the local residents and out of town visitors. This responsible growth attitude has been a major factor in the success of Carlsbad Seapointe Resort.
