The Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce Web site has received a facelift, though visitors may not realize it upon first glance. While the overall look of the site is basically the same, there is a vast difference in the functionality. Surfing for information on Carlsbad just became a lot easier.
The first thing you'll notice is the smooth navigation. The site has a very easy to navigate structure that shows all of the sub-categories once you click on one of the main categories, not before.
The search functions of the site are greatly improved as well. You now have the ability to search past issues of the Carlsbad Business Journal, the member directory or the Web site itself from any page on the site.
The member directory includes a new page for each member which displays the company's description as listed in the printed directory. Members now have the opportunity to put an ad next to their listing to highlight their business.
