The Westfield Gift Card by American Express can be used at any merchant in the United States that accepts American Express. Previously, Westfield offered gift cards that were for use only at retailers and restaurants in shopping centers managed by Westfield.
“We're very excited to offer our customers this new gift card product, and just in time for holiday gift giving,” said Becky Smith, general manager of Westfield Plaza Camino Real. “Customer feedback has been very positive as gift givers no longer have to guess what the recipient wants or where they like to shop since Westfield Gift Card recipients decide where they'd like to spend the money.”
The new Westfield Gift Cards issued by American Express are now available at Plaza Camino Real in Carlsbad, as well as six other San Diego locations, including Westfield North County, Westfield UTC, Westfield Mission Valley, Westfield Parkway, Westfield Plaza Bonita and Westfield Horton Plaza.

The centers also will continue to offer American Express Gift Cards. Both types of cards can be purchased from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily at the Shopping Concierge Center, located on Level One near JCPenney.
