Each month I host a Small Business Roundtable for new and inactive members. The purpose of this special meeting is to help members fit into the big Chamber picture. This is something that is unique to our Chamber and it is one of the most important functions provided for membership.

The attendance is limited to 10 and the purpose of the meeting is to help the Chamber staff learn more about our members which allows us to make better referrals and to discuss members' business issues as well as goals for Chamber membership; all the opportunities currently offered by the Chamber and those that will most likely help members meet your goals and provide an introduction of other small business members with the same goals.

During the two hour roundtable, attendees are able to hear about all of the opportunities the Carlsbad Chamber has to offer which includes but is not limited to:
Getting your business the attention it deserves, our website can help.
Advertising, press releases and listing opportunities through the Carlsbad Business Journal.
How to join Chamber committees and become a valuable part of the community.
Chamber events that can boost you business visibility.
Receiving personalized business counseling in the Chamber's Small Business Success Center (SBSC).
How to get involved in the nation's largest one day Street Faire presented by the Chamber.
How to get involved in the annual Business Expo.

Each person is able to discuss their specific business, their personal strengths, areas they wish to improve upon and their goals. Attendees are invited to provide suggestions and referrals for each other. Committees and events for each person to pursue in order to meet their goals are also covered.
