Author and branding expert Liz Goodgold investigates the secrets to developing a dynamic personal brand in order to succeed as an entrepreneur. Goodgold, who authored “Red Fire Branding: Create a Hot Personal Brand and Have Customers for Life” presents her fundamental message at the Carlsbad Chamber's First Friday Breakfast next month.
According to Goodgold, the key to making and keeping lifelong customers is creating a lasting first impression. In step-by-step fashion, Goodgold offers practical and tactical techniques to consistently project a personal brand in every aspect — from a name and key marketing phrases to the creative use of music and a personal signature style. Virtually every point covered by Goodgold is emphasized by examples of rock stars, sports heroes, TV personalities, famous chefs, business experts, entrepreneurs, and newsmakers who have successfully employed the personal branding philosophy.
Each year more than 600,000 businesses start up, and to succeed each one must wage a war against the competition. Goodgold's Red Fire Branding techniques make businesses stand out from the crowd.
During the First Friday Breakfast, Goodgold will explore aspects of her branding philosophy, including:

The difference between a name and a brand

The value of consistency and authenticity in a brand

Ruthless self promotion

Trust, respect and repeat business
Goodgold has more than 25 years of branding experience, and has worked with clients such as Quaker Oats, Times Mirror, and Arco Oil as well as with small business owners and start-ups. Her specialized, one-on-one branding and coaching programs spark new ideas that deliver sure-fire results.
