Schubach Aviation, San Diego's premier on-demand air charter service firm, has added a Cessna Citation SII and a Hawker 800 to its diverse fleet of charter aircraft.
The luxurious Citation SII is a lightweight, high-performance jet that is among the most popular of executive aircraft. The jet is able to access short field airports and boasts a range of 1,400 to 1,800 nautical miles, depending on passenger load.
With seating for up to nine passengers, the Citation SII features a luxurious dark leather interior, enclosed lavatory and a bar and refreshment center. The twin-engine jet, which is available for charter, is capable of taking passengers from California to New York with one fuel stop.
With room to move around, the Hawker 800 is best suited for destinations like New York, Miami, Chicago and Cancun, or for passengers looking to take short-range flights in a spacious cabin. The aircraft is specially equipped with blended winglets that decrease fuel burn and allow the jet to fly at higher altitudes, enabling further travel.
With the largest cabin in the mid-size jet category, the Hawker 800 can accommodate up to eight passengers. The aircraft features fresh paint, a newly-designed interior, leather seats, an enclosed lavatory, entertainment center, flight phone and galley with a refreshment center and mini-bar.
The jets join a fleet of 16 private, luxury aircraft chartered by Schubach Aviation. The company also operates two wide-bodied Bombardier Challenger 601s, two King Air 200s, a King Air C90, three Citation CJ1s, a Citation 1SP, a King Air 350, a Hawker 800, a Hawker 700 and two Hawker 600 Fanjets.
Schubach Aviation provides the corporate community and leisure travelers with private aircraft charters to anywhere in the world. Founded in 1992 by Henry Schubach, the firm employs a team of 42 highly experienced pilots, mechanics and support staff at its headquarters at McClellan-Palomar Airport in Carlsbad.
