Mimi Kirk, who People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) named as the Sexiest Vegetarian Over 50, will be offering tips to live a long and healthy life at the March Sundowner, which will be held from 7-9 a.m. on March 7 at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa, 2100 Costa Del Mar Road.
Kirk's presentation will include the following topics:


• Why you should make dietary adjustment
• How to ease yourself into eating better
• Navigating the grocery store
• Knowing your limit


Kirk was 70 when she was named PETA's Sexiest Vegetarian Over 50. Now at the age of 75, she is the best-selling author of "LIVE RAW, Raw Food Recipes for Good Health and Timeless Beauty," "LIVE RAW AROUND THE WORLD" and a third book that will be released January 2015. She is a raw food chef, sought after speaker and health consultant. She can be seen on her Youtube channel where she demonstrates how to prepare delicious raw food dishes. She has been interviewed by NBC, KUSI, Fox and has appeared on national television.


First Friday Breakfast is the Chamber's premiere networking and business promotional event, and one of the most regularly attended monthly programs. The cost is $32 for Chamber members who register before February 28. Afterward, the preregistration cost is $55 and $60 at the door.
