Just weeks after being ranked "Highest in Customer Satisfaction with Home Builders in San Diego County" in the J.D. Power and Associates 2006 Home Builder Customer Satisfaction Study, Shea Homes has earned another coveted honor, the 2006 Grand SAM Award for Best Detached Community.
Recognizing the highest achievement in homebuilding sales and marketing and presented by the Sales and Marketing Council of the Building Industry Association of San Diego, the Grand SAM for best detached community over $700,000 went to Shea Homes' Sanctuary at Stonebridge Estates in Scripps Ranch for "innovative architecture, interior design and merchandising."
Sanctuary also won SAM Awards for Best Logo and Best Sales Office, and the Sanctuary sales team of Pam Beaird and Robin Biltucci was honored as Best Sales Professionals.
Sanctuary was also a SAM finalist in several categories, including Best Detached Housing Product with a price range of $900,001 to $1.5 million, Best Model Home Interior Design for a detached home with an average price of $900,001 to $1.5 million, Best Model Complex Landscaping for a detached community $700,001 and over, and Best Brochure for a single community with an average sales price of $700,001 and over.
Sharing the honors with Shea Homes were the architectural firm of Lim Chang Rohling & Associates, the landscape architects of Terra Firma Landscape, sales office designers Motivational Systems, Inc. and Shea's advertising and marketing agency, Kovach Marketing.
"All of us at Shea Homes are extremely grateful for this tremendous honor because Sanctuary was in competition with some truly exceptional communities," stated Paul Barnes, president of Shea Homes San Diego. "We are also grateful for the outstanding contributions from our design and marketing consultants, our TradePartners and our entire planning, construction, sales and marketing staff. Without them, it would not have been possible to win the Grand SAM."
A featured community in Shea Homes' Dream Home Luxury Collection, Sanctuary at Stonebridge Estates is distinguished by an enchanting rural setting amid vast expanses of open space at the northern edge of Mission Trails Regional Park. The homes are grand in scale and magnificent in every detail. Spanning 4,435 to 5,599 square feet, including four to six bedrooms and up to five and one-half baths, the one- and two-story residences are enhanced by such extraordinary amenities as graceful loggias, interior courtyards, optional summer kitchens, detached cabanas on select sites and four-car garages. Prices start in the $1.3 millions.
Shea Homes San Diego is a division of Shea Homes Limited Partnership, an independent member of the Shea family of companies, which is celebrating its 125th anniversary in 2006.
