Wells Fargo Bank recently became a partner with the Chamber and their Small Business Success Center which helps promote business development within the Carlsbad community.

Wells Fargo's donation will help to insure the success of many new and growing companies. Chamber President and CEO, Ted Owen stated, "It's refreshing to have one of the nation's largest banks reach out to the region's small emerging companies."

Wells Fargo's generous donation will allow the Chamber to expand the programs that are offered in the Success Center and facilitate reaching more business people.

"Now that we have our business counseling and workshops developed, we will soon be expanding our program to include field counseling for Carlsbad companies who need more time and expertise devoted to their specific business," said Andrea Korogi, Director of Small Business Development.

Korogi also explained that as soon as eligible companies have completed a SWOT analysis, an analysis that analyzes Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats, counselors will be selected to work on site with the business to help improve their systems and cash flow.

Natasha Khimani, branch manager for Wells Fargo's main office in Carlsbad, says they have many new solutions for small business owners including packages that provide online banking, credit cards, tax service, payroll services and merchant services.
