Welcome! The Chamber's Small Business Success Center is up and running. After only one month, we've hosted two Small Business Roundtable Discussion Groups to learn more about what our members want and need from the Chamber. Over the next few weeks, we'll be developing some targeted workshops and programs for Chamber members to address these areas:
Development, How to take a great idea and turn it into a viable business plan. How to identify your niche market and how to present your story effectively (Facts Tell — Benefits Sell). Coaching and resources each step of the way.
Marketing and Communications, How to use limited dollars to reach your target audience. Understanding the media, basic ad design, how to write a press release and marketing on the Web.
What to do once the phone starts ringing and what to do as soon the phone stops ringing.
Leads, How to generate them for your target market. Organizations to contact and lists to use. How to get introductions and how to use the Chamber's membership and resources.
Location, Location, Location, How to select a location to buy or lease and how to work with contractors. Improving sidewalk appeal and foot traffic.
If you would like to participate in our programs, please contact Andrea Korogi, Director of Small Business Development, at (760) 931-8400.
