Alan Nevin, director of economic research at Market Pointe Realty Advisors in San Diego, will be the inaugural speaker for Southwest Community Bank's Next Level of Business Speaker Series. "2005, Will Lotus Land Live On?" takes place Sept. 14 from 7:30, 9:30 a.m. at the Radisson Hotel located at 3299 Holiday Court in La Jolla. A member of the UCSD faculty since 1980 and the school's senior advisor for its real estate and land use curriculum, Nevin has an extensive background in California real estate and demographic trends.
The Next Level of Business Speaker Series will provide the business community with current practical information on the state of Southern California's economy presented by front-line experts. The event is underwritten by Southwest Community Bank. The cost for the seminar is $20 per person and includes breakfast. All proceeds go directly to the Alpha Project, a nonprofit human services organization that serves more than 4,000 needy individuals in Southern California.
