After 15 years of providing personal response services for its seniors throughout the San Diego community, Southwest Lifeline continues to enhance its resources so that subscribers consistently receive the highest quality of care when calling for assistance.
This comes at a time when Lifeline Systems announced recently that it is now serving a half million subscribers throughout the United States and Canada.

"We're tremendously proud of the difference our program is making in San Diego County, and how we are able to help the seniors in our community live safely, with confidence, and with peace of mind," said Gordon Landis.

The Lifeline solution for seniors living on their own is the Personal Help Button technology that connects to a response associate for immediate assistance. The lightweight, waterproof Personal Help Button can be worn around the neck or wrist, allowing subscribers to simply press the button to notify Lifeline 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Personal Response Associates receive intensive training in gerontology, stress management, and various topics on aging before being certified to assist subscribers.

"It's rewarding for us to be able to support the active and independent lifestyles of the elders in our community, and to know that when they need assistance we're always there for them," said Landis. "Southwest Lifeline is proud to provide peace of mind to our San Diego County subscribers."
