I am happy to report that the State of the Chamber is OUTSTANDING!
When you consider the fluid condition of the economy we have been experiencing over the past few years, the allegiance of our members to the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce is nothing short of a miracle, and we are very, very grateful for that!
So why do members keep joining our chamber and staying with us during these times when so many are working hard and struggling with the day-to-day?
The reason is that the chamber's professional staff is truly one of the elite staffs in the chamber's western world. Our staff and the innovative, engaging programs they continue to produce create a positive return on our member's investment. We help them in areas where they have individual goals and needs, and not with just blanket programs or cookie-cutter approaches.
We are proud to have nearly 1,600 member businesses who are looking to the future, aiming to survive this roller coaster economy with one goal in mind, to grow and prosper as the economy recovers, which it surely will.
Although our members have not been immune to the rigors of this battered economy, we are heartened to have like-minded members with lofty goals and ideals, who are solving similar problems that have led to dozens of new hires, many bottom lines in the black and healthy, expanding businesses.
In addition to our staff, we are most fortunate to have our board directors, all business and community leaders who are dedicated to advancing the purpose of the chamber by offering their experience and expertise. Thank you!
Another reason for the success of this Chamber is the relationship we enjoy with the city staff leadership and the elected stewards of the city.
We are working together with one ultimate goal: making Carlsbad the best in the west.
The City and the Chamber continue to support each other while maintaining one of the finest qualities of life in Southern California.
The Chamber of Commerce is honored to present this luncheon each year to showcase our city … Well actually to "show off" our city, one of the best examples of how a city should be run.
