January marks the beginning of construction on the Carlsbad Chamber's Small Business Success Center. The Center, funded in part by County Supervisor Bill Horn, will be located at the Chamber office in an area formerly used for storage.

The purpose of the Success Center's is to provide business counseling by chamber staff, SCORE and chamber members. The Center will consist of two computers, audio/visual aids, a resource library and meeting space. Members will be encouraged to schedule ongoing business counseling and will have access to website links and resource material. Examples of the data that will be available to Success Center users are:

-Automotive Detailing
-Bar/Tavern
-Child-Care Service
-Consulting Service
-eBay Business
-Hair Salon
-Restaurant
-Vending
