Sunrise La Costa Assisted Living, located on the corner of Aviara Parkway and El Camino Real, will be presenting a champagne reception art exhibit Saturday, October 22 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The art exhibit is a demonstration of the value of art in people’s lives as a communication tool, stimulation, well being and a process that allows people to express their feelings. A group of artists, instructors and art therapists developed this project and will be framing the art of many residents, some with dementia, some from the assisted living area that have found a new expression through art.
Champagne and fruit will be served along with live musical entertainment. Guests will also get the opportunity to meet the artists, instructors and some residents. For more information, please call 760.930.0060.
