Awareness & Recognition
Membership in the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce is good business for you and for the community. Build your personal and professional image in the Carlsbad community through membership, and participation in, YOUR Chamber of Commerce. Our Annual Business Awards Dinner honors small, medium and large businesses, and our annual Volunteer Breakfast recognizes our many outstanding committee members.
Chamber Referrals and Listings
Receiving myriad inquiries each year from newcomers, visitors, and businesses, the Chamber refers only member businesses.
All Chamber member businesses are listed in our annual Business Resource Guide and Membership Directory which every Chamber member receives and is sold to newcomers moving to the area. Advertising is sold in this directory to Chamber members, and is an excellent way to promote your business. The Chamber also provides its membership directory on the Internet as part of the Chamber's Web site, offering members exposure worldwide.
The Chamber also publishes a monthly newspaper, the Carlsbad Business Journal, which is mailed to every member and hand delivered to every business in the City of Carlsbad. You can also find the Carlsbad Business Journal in nearly 100 racks throughout Carlsbad and San Diego. The CBJ offers unique advertising and marketing opportunities for Chamber members. The Chamber has received numerous awards from the Western Association of Chamber Executives and most recently from the San Diego Press Club.
Committees & Task Forces
Through our numerous committees and task forces you will have hands-on opportunities to become involved in the Chamber — thus another networking opportunity.
Community Investment
There is strength in numbers. A unified voice is much louder than that of any individual. That makes your membership in the Carlsbad Chamber vital. Membership on our team is a key investment strategy to ensure a strong, diversified economy base that may be enjoyed by all. Thanks to your investment, the Chamber works behind the scenes every day in the areas of advocacy and government affairs to ensure Carlsbad remains a great place to live, work, and play.
Cost Savings
Your membership provides you valuable bottom-line benefits, certificates of origin and more. The Chamber also sponsors a Member-to-Member Discount Program that offers discounts on members' services, offered only to Chamber members. Your membership works for you 24/7, 365 days a year, and costs less than a one-time ad. Members can also purchase discounted LEGOLAND tickets.
Marketing Channels for
Increased Exposure
Chamber members can advertise to many target audiences via the Chamber's membership directory, e-news, Web site, newspaper, and more. Dozens of program sponsorship and cooperative opportunities are available throughout the year to get your message out to a filtered audience of Carlsbad's most successful businesses. Let us know your target market and we'll offer you the best connection.
Networking Opportunities
By attending First Friday Breakfast, Sundowners, HR seminars, networking groups, executive roundtables, and the annual business expo, members will meet other business people who may become customers. Members provide products and services to fill your needs, and share ideas and solutions to business problems. The Chamber also offers a netweaving workshop to help our members gain the skills to build relationships and produce bottom-line sales results.

The Carlsbad Chamber is one of the few chambers in California that houses its very own Small Business Success Center.
