Scripps Encinitas now has the ability to better view and treat coronary artery blockages that could cause heart attacks or other serious cardiovascular damage with a new state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization lab.
Pictured (from left to right) are Scripps Memorial Encinitas M.D., Dr. Antone Salel; President of the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce Gary Tucker; Chief Executive of Scripps Memorial Encinitas Carl Etter; CEO of the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce Keith Turner; and Carlsbad Chamber Ambassadors David Shay, Mike Tucci, Gina McBride, Tammy Lyttleton and Elaine Lyttleton..
The new lab houses an all-digital cardiovascular imaging system that provides cardiologists with precise pictures of any disease present in coronary arteries. The technology allows cardiologists to diagnose and treat acute heart attacks immediately, which in many cases, reduces damage to the heart muscle. The rapid and precise management of patients experiencing acute chest pain or heart attacks can improve the recovery process and help patients return to their normal lifestyles.
Visit the lab at 354 Santa Fe Drive in Encinitas. Or for more information you can call them at (760) 633-7660.
