The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) has appointed entrepreneur and real estate executive Timothy J. Stripe to its Board of Governors. Stripe will be one of the Institute's 18 governors when his tenure begins in November 2005.
Stripe has nearly 20 years of work experience in finance, real estate development, manufacturing, capital markets and business banking operations. He is also the co-president and co-owner of Grand Pacific Resorts, Inc. Currently a certified public accountant, Stripe brings extensive experience to the board.
