The good times will roll from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 17 when the Carlsbad, Oceanside, San Marcos and Vista Chambers' of Commerce join Tri-City Medical Center in celebrating 56 years of collaboration.
In 1952, representatives of the Carlsbad, Oceanside and Vista chambers identified a need for a modern local hospital. These three separate and distinct chambers joined together in 1955 to form the Tri-City Hospital Association to oversee and coordinate the formation of the Tri-City Hospital District. On July 16, 1961, Tri-City Hospital opened its doors.
The fabulous '50s Sundowner will take place on the northwest corner of the parking lot at Tri-City Medical Center, 4002 Vista Way, Oceanside. Tri-City's famous Catering Department will be serve tequila steak fajitas, carved beef filet, teriyaki chicken kabobs and a seafood bar, among many other appetizers that are sure to tickle your taste buds.
The event is only for those who are 21 and older. Admission is $15.
