The Biogen Idec NIMO manufacturing campus in Oceanside, at One Antibody Way, contains a lab/office building, a GMP warehouse, an operations building, a central utilities building and a 210,000 square foot manufacturing building. The total property is 90 acres, with 500,000 square feet of building area. The total projected cost has been published at $380 million. Initially conceptualized as IDEC’s first large scale manufacturing facility, NIMO is now part of the Biogen Idec world-wide biotech manufacturing capability, which will be the third largest in the world.
