Start the year off right. Learn how to lower your stress and maximize your results by laughing more at the First Friday Breakfast on Jan. 6. It will feature Colette Carlson, who employs a funny and motivational style to explore the right balance to reconcile the pressure between work and family.
Although people often think they have to do more and more to succeed in our fast-paced world, Carlson says the mantra only leads to more mayhem and stress.
In this hilarious and heart-warming program, she shares how clear boundaries and thoughtful choices lead to greater satisfaction and stronger results. She describes how to balance things that matter most so that talented, ambitious people can think, speak and live their truth.
You will howl with laughter and walk away inspired to make positive, long-lasting changes for the coming year after witnessing Carlson's signature, visual close that brings it all home.
Carlson's worlds come from experience. Only by telling the truth on herself was Carlson able to lose her own fears and addictions that kept her 50 pounds overweight and making underwhelming choices. One thing she didn't lose was her sense of humor, which is apparent whether she's sharing her system for success as far away as South Africa or within the pages of Success Magazine.
As a human behavior expert, Colette knows her stuff and has the research, education and personal experience to back it. That is why her clients include Microsoft, Accenture, Cisco, PepsiCo, Boeing and New York Life.
After applying the strategies she now teaches, she went into straight-commissioned sales with legend Tom Hopkins and became the No. 1 sales producer. This led to an opportunity to join Brian Tracy's International Organization before Colette applied her sales skills in a corporate environment as a National Sales Trainer with US West. In the midst of raising her two daughters, she went back to night school to earn her Masters in Human Behavior.
