Can you provide a student aged 16-21 with a work experience in your business?
The Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) is a state vocational agency that provide pre-employment transition services to our local high school students.
We want to create partnerships and ongoing collaborations with local employers and local high schools to:
Meet the needs of our businesses
Assist students to gain the necessary skills and tools they need to be successful in future employment
Maximize student preparedness in transitioning from high school to higher education to employment
Funding is available to pay the student’s wages, workers compensation, and unemployment insurance contributinos for 100+ hours.
