On Tuesday, June 22nd, the Carlsbad Republican Women Federated (CRWF) club welcomes two outstanding speakers. Longtime friend to CRWF, the honorable Mayor Matt Hall will address the “State of our City.” Community leader and President/CEO of the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce, Bret Schanzenbach, will present “How Carlsbad Businesses Survived the Shutdown.” Don’t miss this opportunity to receive the inside information on our beloved city!
Matt Hall has been an exceptional Mayor since 2010 and is a fiscal conservative, bringing his unique blend of hard work and common sense to the Mayor’s office. He is a Vietnam Veteran who was awarded the Purple Heart, and is a proven leader as an elected public servant and successful businessman.
Mayor Hall is a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, and he and his wife, Phyllis, have deep roots in Carlsbad and are active citizens in the community.
Bret Schanzenbach has served as the President and CEO of the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce since January, 2019. Schanzenbach came to the Carlsbad position from the Vista Chamber of Commerce where he served as CEO for 9 years. His corporate background was in residential real estate and the software industry. In 1992, he helped start Technical Difference, Inc., a human resources software company. He and his wife Joleen and children reside in Vista, CA.
The Carlsbad Republican Women Club focuses on campaigns and elections, getting out the vote, political issues and efforts, registering new Republicans, educating our members and the public, and serving the military and other worthy organizations in our area.
CRWF’s June 22nd luncheon will be held at the Holiday Inn, 2725 Palomar Airport Road, Carlsbad. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. and the program begins at 11:00 a.m. Cost is $32 per person.
