Celebrating leadership and legacy
Coach Nehemiah Brunson’s Impact at Army and Navy Academy
This year, Army and Navy Academy’s varsity football team made history under the extraordinary leadership of Head Coach and Athletic Director Nehemiah Brunson. Coach Brunson achieved his 50th career win this season, marking a milestone not just for him but for the entire Academy community. The Warriors wrapped up their season with an impressive 8-3 record, earning recognition both on and off the field.
Coach Brunson joined the Academy in 2015 and has since transformed its football program into a beacon of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. With a focus on character development and leadership—values that echo the Academy’s mission—his leadership has reinvigorated the team’s competitive spirit.
“Reaching 50 wins is a tremendous honor,” said Coach Brunson. “Each victory represents the hard work of our team, staff, and the Cadet community. This milestone belongs to everyone who has been part of this journey.”
The Warriors’ season ended in the D3 playoffs, following a tough battle against Eastlake High School. While the scoreline wasn’t in their favor, the team’s determination and sportsmanship left a lasting impression.
