Every second and fourth Saturday of the month talented artists from across San Diego and here in Carlsbad, offer the best value in North County entertainment. Join us for a fun evening at the Schulman Auditorium, where your seat is always FREE. Explore the latest exhibit, Dual Visions, which features abstracted works of art created by artists, Sijia Chen and Kelsey Overstreet in the William D. Cannon Art Gallery, located within the Carlsbad City Library complex on Dove Lane. This exhibit showcases artwork highlighting the artist’s personal narrative through their unique use of color, line and pattern to create movement, along with the juxtaposition of organic shapes and textural elements. As a viewer you’re able to hone and look closely at the details of each work, however when you step back and look from a distance, you’re able to take in the whole composition that may take you into your own reflective journey. This stunning exhibit is on view now through December 16.
