On June 13 the City of Carlsbad passed a balanced budget for the 2023-24 fiscal year. The three main sources of General Fund revenue are property taxes, sales tax and TOT tax (the tax visitors pay when they stay in local hotels and short-term vacation rentals).  To see a great overview of the spending plan for this fiscal year, click here.
