Carlsbad has grown from a small coastal community into a nationally recognized destination for businesses. That success did not happen by chance. It was built through partnerships, thoughtful leadership, and a community willing to come together to solve challenges and embrace opportunities.

The 2026 Carlsbad Regional Community Summit will explore Carlsbad’s past, present, and future through an engaging panel discussion moderated by Justin Jachura, Owner of Señor Grubby’s, Grubby’s Poke & Fish Market, and Los Tacos. We will have a powerhouse panel, featuring community leaders: Tim Wrisley, Owner/Publisher Carlsbad Magazine and Carlsbad Village Books, Craig Martin, GM at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa, Steve Fambro, Co-CEO Aptera Motors, Raj Pillai, Professor of Management CSUSM, and Kevin Shin, City Council Member, City of Carlsbad.

Gain first hand perspectives on the forces shaping our region. Attendees will also hear from Mayor Keith Blackburn during a keynote address highlighting the opportunities and priorities ahead for Carlsbad.
