Meet Anne Staffieri, SDUHSD’s new Superintendent





I officially began my position as the Superintendent of Schools in the San Dieguito Union High School District on July 18, and it is a profound honor to be given this wonderful opportunity. The San Dieguito school community is well-regarded statewide for its amazing teachers, dedicated and talented administrators, exceptional support services, and of course, students who are full of promise and ability.

This District has many remarkable accomplishments for which it can be proud, and as the Superintendent, it is my job to help ensure that we continue those achievements while also growing in service to our students. I look forward to building on the strong partnerships between school and home that are already in place to help nurture the conditions that ensure each and every student in our care flourishes.

I have been working closely with our principals and district teams to familiarize myself with the school community as we welcome the start of a new school year. I am committed to supporting our continuous improvement efforts in service to students, furthering the outstanding conditions that we create in our classrooms and on our campuses while deepening our partnerships with families and caregivers in support of student success. We have a talented team that collectively and collaboratively creates this remarkable district.

I have also enjoyed and will continue to enjoy getting to know all of our students, and I look forward to a successful school year.
