A New Year’s resolution, join a chamber committee

By Bev Jorgensen

As your year kicks off, the time’s right to prepare for new challenges by setting objectives. Joining a Chamber committee or volunteering at one of our events is a great way to start the New Year!

So this year resolve to be involved in new ways in your community and the Chamber. Let that resolution branch out in some pretty amazing directions. You may discover a new passion through the process. And that would make us feel incredibly fortunate to have played a part in such growth.

Participation on a Chamber committee, a task force or Netforce group provides our members with the opportunity to work with some of the region’s top business, professional and community leaders and gain valuable leadership, management and teamwork experience while working to develop programs and address issues of importance to North County’s business community.

We encourage you and members of your staff to become involved on one or more of the Chamber committees listed below. Simply call the Chamber at (760) 931-8400 for further information or to volunteer.
