North County Transit District: Survey Lets Riders Share Input

(Source / North County Transit, July 2022)

The North County Transit District (NCTD) is conducting a survey to better understand its customers and local communities in the face of changing travel needs experienced as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The survey launched last week to gather feedback into customer needs and how they view transit.

The ten minute survey, which is intended for anyone who lives, works, or otherwise visits the North County region, is designed for transit users, with a shorter version available for those who currently do not use transit but could potentially be encouraged to try it. The questions cover a variety of topics including current travel behavior, service and routes, first and last mile connections, and the overall user experience, among others.

Over the next month, Circulate San Diego, a local non-profit organization, will be active around the North County area at community events, downtown areas, and at NCTD stops and stations to conduct the survey.  An online survey is also available on the NCTD website, and accessible via scannable QR codes printed on decals scattered throughout local municipalities.

The survey will be open until the first week of August.
