This Notice of Retraction and Correction applies only to the 2024 Voters Guide distributed with the Carlsbad Business Journal to local magazine racks between approximately Tuesday, October 1, 2024, 4:00 p.m. and Wednesday, October 2, 9:30 a.m. The Carlsbad Chamber was notified about 8:00 p.m. October 1, 2024 that pages 10 and 11of the Voter Guide had erroneous answers from candidates Teresa Acosta and Greg Day.   Immediate action was taken to remove the Carlsbad Business Journal from the magazine racks and to have erroneous pages 10 and 11 of the 2024 Voters Guide corrected. The Carlsbad Business Journal with the corrected 2024 Voters Guide was distributed on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 by 9:30 a.m..  This Notice of Retraction and Correction only applies to the Carlsbad Business Journals obtained from magazine racks by persons during the short time frame.  The Carlsbad Business Journal distributed by mail does not contain the erroneous material.  The Journal apologizes to Teresa Acosta and Greg Day for this error and to the public who may have acquired a copy of the 2024 Voter Guide with the Carlsbad Business Journal during the limited time.
