SOCAL (Student Opportunities for Career Awareness and Learning Program) is a collaborative program between education and industry, created by Tri-City Medical Center, the San Diego North Economic Development Council, and the Carlsbad, Oceanside, and Vista Chambers of Commerce.


All the members of the San Diego County Board of Supervisors including District 3, Terra Lawson-Remer, and District 5, Jim Desmond, hosted a ceremony where SOCAL received a proclamation for its outstanding commitment to the economic development of San Diego County communities.
