On Feb. 7 Harry Paul will be the featured speaker at the Carlsbad Chamber’s First Friday Breakfast. Paul, known as “Harry the Fish Guy,” has created a new workplace philosophy from his book called “FISH! A Proven Way to Boost Morale and Improve Results.” The book’s idea is to transform workplace cultures that are uninspired and unenthusiastic, into an attitude embracing trust and fun to the work place and creating a winning mindset. This First Friday Breakfast brings the wisdom from Harry Paul’s newest book, “Who Kidnapped Excellence?” “Having (Harry Paul) as a speaker brings an opportunity for our members to hear from such an established speaker who would not be able to otherwise,” said Vice President, Corporate and Member Relations, Bev Jorgensen. “We want to keep our members top-notch as there is a tendency to fall behind in the workplace. It’s important to remind ourselves to maintain a standard of excellence.” Join the Chamber and Paul for a fresh look at what it takes to bring excellence back to an organization. The First Friday Breakfast is from 7-9:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 7 at the La Costa Resort and Spa.
