The second La Costa Film Festival of Carlsbad is searching for volunteers, age 16 and over, for the North County’s celebration of the active life in new and classic cinema. More than 100 volunteers are needed to fill a variety of jobs during the four day event to be held September 18-21 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa, Dove Library, and La Costa Cinepolis, all located in the picturesque City of Carlsbad. Film lovers and those who enjoy making new friends and showing off their community spirit are encouraged to apply. Volunteers will be assigned, based on their availability and interests, to jobs ranging from box office cashier to assisting on the Red Carpet. Volunteers will receive a LCFF tee shirt and free movie passes (1 per shift) in exchange for working a minimum of three 4-hour shifts.
