GelatoLove Tiramisu Recipe
Carlsbad Chamber x GelatoLove Make Authentic Italian Tiramisu to celebrate GelatoLove's 10th Anniversary!
Equipment
- Kitchen Aid
- Large Stand Mixer
Ingredients
- 1.5 cup sugar
- 15 egg yolks
- 2 cups mascarpone Homemade mascarpone made a day before is best (heavy cream and fresh lemon juice)
- 1 1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Beat the egg yolks with sugar for 8 mins in a mixer at medium high speed
- Add mascarpone and keep mixing for 2-3 minutes at medium speed
- In a separate mixer whip the cream to medium/firm
- Add the whipped cream to the main mixer an keep on mixing at medium high speed for 4-5 mins until desired firmness
- Build your Tiramisu in layers: mascarpone cream, ladyfinger or amaretto cookies soaked in espresso, cocoa powder.
