Carlsbad Chamber x GelatoLove Make Authentic Italian Tiramisu to celebrate GelatoLove's 10th Anniversary!

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cup sugar
  • 15 egg yolks
  • 2 cups mascarpone Homemade mascarpone made a day before is best (heavy cream and fresh lemon juice)
  • 1 1/4 cup heavy cream

Equipment

  • Kitchen Aid
  • Large Stand Mixer

Method
 

  1. Beat the egg yolks with sugar for 8 mins in a mixer at medium high speed 
  2. Add mascarpone and keep mixing for 2-3 minutes at medium speed
  3. In a separate mixer whip the cream to medium/firm
  4. Add the whipped cream to the main mixer an keep on mixing at medium high speed for 4-5 mins until desired firmness
  5. Build your Tiramisu in layers: mascarpone cream, ladyfinger or amaretto cookies soaked in espresso, cocoa powder.
