vteams Client Appreciation 1st Annual Picnic
On August 14th vteams celebrated its 1st Annual Picnic at the Torrey Pines Glider Point, a client appreciation event for the staff of Carlsmed. Twenty five of our clients and guests walked off the cliffs to enjoy the thrill of tandem hang gliding flights while everyone else cheered them on. 
While the paragliders sailed in the winds off the 160’ cliffs, the gang mingled to sip on celebratory cocktails by Snake Oil Cocktails Co. Especially the signature cocktails featuring an edible graffiti logo of Carlsmed.
They also chowed down on the Hector Casanova Tacos consisting of Baja style or grilled fish tacos and the specialty braised beef tacos. Yummy!
North county’s own Swingin’ Johnsons, Sodie Orr & grammy winner Wayne Johnson provide the music for the fun filled afternoon. A special encore by Sodie brought down the house when he sang Por Ti Volare acapella.
And of course we are grateful to Torrey Pines Glider General Manager Enrique Silva, known as Junior to one and all, the great pilots and ground crew, the fantastic staff for the great organization that allowed vteams to complete our mission of ‘a good time was had by all’. I personally want to thank my pilot JC for providing the two hawks and the dolphins swimming below during my flight!
