Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce COVID-19 Survey Results

The Carlsbad Chamber is uniquely equipped to help keep our community together and we are stepping up again! Since 1923, we have weathered and helped our businesses and community as a whole endure and recover from every crisis that has come in nearly 100 years. This time will be no different. Specifically, our Ready Carlsbad Business Alliance was created for these emergency situations, and are exploring how we can help you!

We asked to know your pain points in order to do what we can to meet those needs, and you graciously answered! Thank you all for sharing your insights and challenges with us at this critical time. -Most businesses right now are unfortunately struggling to maintain their normal staff hours and payroll. However, these companies are hiring!

-There are several resources for employees that may be negatively impacted financially. (Under “Employee and Worker Resources”)

-Just like for employees, there are many resources for small business employers, including SBA loans, CDC Loans and Grants.

-In times like these, having a business emergency plan is imperative. Whether it’s having a strong online presence, financial reserves, or navigating emergency responses, we have resources to help you and your business.

Marketing/Communication is critical right now. For example, discussing what protective measures you’ve implemented. -These are all, of course, reasonable and serious concerns. We at the Chamber are doing all we can to facilitate more virtual events that allow for networking during these times.
